How to design 'perfect' wedding stationary
Over the years, I have designed several different wedding stationary sets for friends and family. I have found the key to designing the 'perfect' wedding stationary is to ask the bride and groom one simple question: what would you like to feel on your wedding day? Push them to go beyond the simple answers of happy, joy, in love.. and really think about the feeling they would like to have. Once I understand the emotions they are hoping to experience and share with guests, I simply soak up all the fine details they share with me including colours, decor, florals, the dress, and everything in between.
Recently, I had the honour of working with a very talented wedding planner Leah Craig on a fun styled shoot project and we were published in Elegant Wedding Magazine. It was super fun to put together this set of wedding stationary to match the beautiful dark merlot and gold geometric theme.
